LORD Corporation is known for being an innovator and passing its production across the aerospace, defense, automotive, oil and gas and industrial industries with an international presence in more than 26 countries and with more than 3000 employees.

The company that has always been a reference in the sector in which it operates, is now part of Parker Hannifin, a leader in control and movement technologies. In its product line the company has a little of everything, with special and technological adhesives for various uses, coatings made of ultra resistant material for industrial/automotive surfaces, encapsulation and other electronic items, sensing systems, chemicals and more.

Dissatisfied with the performance of other companies in the market, LORD’s staff contacted us to improve the cooling process of their jacketed tank tanks and mills that are on the outside of their unit.

After a field visit and understanding of what the process needed, REFRISAT’s technical-commercial team identified that the best solution would be to apply equipment with more than 210,000 kcal/h of capacity used in conjunction with a reservoir and a skid of pumps assembled specifically to meet this process.

With our guidance, LORD was able to carry out the general installation of the equipment with the labor of its own team, in addition to acquiring a remote HMI for control considering the installation distance.

With the advanced automation of REFRISAT equipment, control has become even easier in recent years, in addition, the ease of adaptation and projects with the removal of the reservoir and the inclusion of the MOBILE system by GSM also brought extra safety to the process with 24h control.
