That we are active in the medical and hospital area, you already know. We participated directly in helping this battlefront, and we continue! We are in contact with major intensive care centers and assisting in the best way that we can. More than that, we have also taken special measures to ensure the health of our employees and loved ones.

We started the production of fabric masks for our team who have yet to leave their homes, and we intensified all care with hygiene and interaction.

In parallel to this, our customers from different areas continue their production of essential products, ranging from cleaning products to food and hospital products. And more than that, they are meeting and contributing to lessen both the impacts of this crisis and the spread of COVID – 19.

The simple fact that our clients in the essential areas continue their work already fills us with inspiration to continue, as we know how our performance makes a difference in their productions. From quality to productivity, our equipment is essential to guarantee the stock of our supermarkets and the lives of so many in hospital environments.

In addition to all the large customers we already have in our portfolio and who are working hard to maintain our supply, we list below some of our customers with extra inspiring actions:

AMBEV + Gerdau + Albert Einstein Hospital

In addition to producing gel alcohol for donation and distribution, the Brazilian group Ambev produced masks in the “Face Shield” style for protecting the face with material from the pet bottles used in Guaraná Antártica, a process that uses thermal control equipment for injection and blowing. And as if that were not enough, the group is also helping financially and organizing the construction of COVID-19 treatment centers in partnership with two other clients of ours, Hospital Albert Einstein and Gerdau (which also produced 10,000 reusable face shields for donation public health professionals).

RENAULT

Not having a product directly related to the treatment of COVID-19 was not a problem for Renault, which with the support of its institute was able to combine social impact and protection of the population in the manufacture and donation of disposable masks.

GRENDENE

Using the structure intended for other products in the manufacture of medical kits was Grendene’s strategy to help in this difficult time. On the brand’s official Instagram they show caps, masks, lab coats and foot protection that will be distributed!

HAVAIANAS and COLGATE

Another customer who wears our feet and the world and is on this wave of good initiatives is Havaianas. The company teamed up with the Colgate group and donated essential kits and sneakers to street sweepers who work for the city of Campina Grande. Through the Alpargatas Institute, the company also has a series of other projects triggered.

UNILEVER and PROCTER AND GAMBLE

REFRISAT’s competing brands and customers donated a lot of important product to prevent the disease. It went from soap, disinfectant and bleach to food to fight the epidemic and its effects on our society.

KLABIN

Like us, who are in so many industries behind the scenes, Klabin acted in its area in the best possible way with the idea of donating packaging / carton boxes for the storage of donations of personal hygiene kits, masks and other important items in the fight against spread of the virus.

NATURA, BOTICÁRIO and AVON

Our beauty customers have not ignored its power of production and influence. Natura and Boticário donated soaps and alcohol 70%, intensifying the supply of these much needed products today. In addition, Boticário also increased financial support for the purchase of hospital supplies.

Also with Avon, Natura donated soaps to needy communities, in addition to many other initiatives. In addition, Avon uses its influence in social media. In addition to content geared towards female entrepreneurship, frequent on its networks, the company used its social channels to advertise small businesses of self-employed women for the staff to consume from their homes during the quarantine.
