We have spoken here at other times about cooling processes that we participate in glass industries. We have already been from the glass of the car to the football stadiums, and now we are reinforcing this participation in industries that valorize quality and are industry benchmarks.

Owens Illionois is one such case. They work with beer packaging, food, non-alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, distilled beverages, crockery, wine and even launched a special product registered by them, “COVET ™”, serving a luxury sector with even more sophistication in packaging and high quality.

Founded in the USA and with headquarters in several countries, in addition to joint ventures in China, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, the United States and Vietnam, O-I, as it is referenced, has more than 27,000 employees worldwide, besides having more than 1,800 patents, proving its pioneering and innovative characteristic.

The quest for novelties in a sector that has remained so similar for years, is a fruit of a lot of research and of the will of companies that, like Owens Illionois, see beyond the current need of the consumer. There’s no wonder why they found us looking for solutions for their production problems!

In the process in question, our equipment is responsible for the cooling of specific processes in the Owens unit. The model chosen was one of our smaller ones, the SAT 015, which was efficiently applied to the specifications requested by O-I and is still delivering better quality and efficiency.

With the cooling of glass production at the Owens plant, productivity increases, as well as the quality of the final product and the offer to final customers, which in the end, since we are all clients, goes from Brazil to the other side of the world, literally.
