In order to deliver their food, sanitation and hygiene, so important during this period and always, almost all essential goods companies need to send their products packaged. Safety, quality and the need for reliable packaging has become even more important. So we are still around with our customers.

According to estimates by ABIPLAST in a report for the newspaper Valor Econômico, the production of plastics fell 40% in April alone. Even sectors with essential items had a sharp drop in sales, and even so, companies decreased their productive capacities.

Even due to this drop, our participation in industries with higher demand was more evident during this period. But we have not forgotten our work dedicated to everyone who is participating in the productions that seek to keep our life minimally “normal” in the midst of a period of so many uncertainties.

This is the case at BM Strap, our neighbor here in Guarulhos. The company has a very large focus on the production of PP and PET tape, but has a very diverse line of packaging and equipment to help in this sector.

We supplied equipment with more than 200,000 kcal / h which, before the pandemic, managed to increase customer productivity. During the pandemic, despite lower demand, our equipment is also of paramount importance, since it is recognized for the savings in material, energy and sustainable completion of products.
